I mentioned in an earlier blog “Great places to eat with a sea view in Mykonos” This is one of them. Markos Taverna.  It’s far from the maddening tourist crowds. Marco’s taverna is located in Divounia. (by Kalifati).  That mountain in the background is known as Aphrodite’s Breasts.  This tiny fishing village has been here for over a hundred years. See it while you can.  Soon it will be replaced with modern buildings.  Right now you can still see the fishermen bringing in fresh catch and cleaning their nets.  Some fishing huts are already leveled by the new owners, but Marco’s will remain open for the next season.
