If you tell someone you live in or have visited the Ano Diakoftis area of Mykonos I’m sure you have heard someone say “Where?”. Since everyone knows neighbouring Ornos. My usual reply is “Above Ornos on the southwest side”.
This wonderful picturesque residential area has spectacular views of three bays and the channel between Delos and Mykonos. It’s close to town, but tucked away in it’s own quiet little paradise.
Depending on your location in Ano Diakoftis, you have views of Ornos, Korfos, Agios Ioannis, as well as the neighbouring islands of Naxos, Paros, Syros, Tinos, Rhenia and ancient Delos.
