Mykonos …Rarely seen this way….Snow!!

Snowy Ornos and Agios Ioannis in Mykonos 20/02/22

We have had snow here before….but nothing that sticks for a long period of time. We are usually green all winter. The storm called Elpida swept across Greece covering northern Greece including Athens in snow. I woke at 8am thinking it was an unusual white glow coming from my bedroom windows. What an awakening with the realization that we were not just white houses but white everywhere!! I ran out to capture history in the making. Hope you enjoy the photos. More snow expected!
